Rich Fixes & Inspirations

The beauty of fashion is that no matter how basic the garment can be, the most creative find ways to reinvent it. That’s where you find the magic in clothes, through innovation and personalizing. So we had to pull a few inspirational photos from a couple of the best DIY gurus.

Fashion DIYer Geneva Vanderzeil on www.APairandaSpareDIY.com has an eye for spotting original street trends that can be recreated. Many of her DIYs are recreated finds from consignment shops! Pictures 1-4 are all currently on her blog, sharing her inspiration for future projects.

Minimalist blogger, Ivania Carpio on www.Love-Aesthetics.blogspot.com, has simplistic taste and an appreciation for small details and construction. She shares DIYs that are so refined, they look like they came right off the runway. One of her simple fixes is adding copper wire to update a dress (shown in her images 5 & 6). There are many more quick and easy DIYs with high-end appeal on her blog.

We pulled a couple things from Closet Rich that can be re-created from the inspiring pictures about, or possibly inspire for something new.
